Whity Umeda is located at a huge terminal where Osaka Metro, JR Hanshin and Hankyu are concentrated, attracts approximately 400,000 users a day. The underground shopping area, which has been nicknamed "Ume Chika" since its opening in 1963, is now renamed "Whity Umeda" in the image of a white city.
